Sizing recommendations

The size of the boots is determined by the width of your dog's paws. Measure the paws on a flat surface while the dog is standing: place one front paw on a sheet of paper and trace its outline. Measure the width of the outline at its widest point. Measure the front paws, as they are anatomically larger than the back ones. It is very important that the dog's paw has enough room inside the boot to fully spread out while moving (about a finger's width on both sides). We note that the boots from this manufacturer and model are "oversized" and leave extra room for the paw to spread. Therefore, based on our experience, we recommend following the size chart and not choosing a larger size than the one you get from your measurements - in such cases, the boots are usually too big.
