Size selection recommendations:

The size of the boots is determined by the width (and length) of your dog's paws. Measure the paws on a flat surface while the dog is standing: place one front paw on a sheet of paper and outline its contour. Measure the width of the contour at the widest point and the length at the longest. If the width falls between two sizes, always choose the larger size. Additionally, check the length. Measure the front paws, as they are anatomically larger than the hind paws. It is very important that the dog's paw has enough space to spread out completely in the boot when moving (approximately one finger on each side). We note that this manufacturer's and model's boots are "undersized" and do not leave extra room for the paw to spread out, so from experience, we recommend choosing at least one size larger boots than the size you get after taking measurements.
